ileana D'Cruz

Her last films ‘Saleem’ and ‘Rechipo’ might have fizzled out at the ticket window, but the craze for the Andala Khazana remains undisturbed. Porcelain beauty Ileana D'Cruz has already set a record as the highest paid heroine (one crore per film) in Tollywood. She has now broken her record and set a new record. The actress has now become the number one heroine not just in Tollywood but for entire South.

It is known that Bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ is being remade in Telugu and Tamil under the direction of Shankar. Prince Mahesh will be doing the lead role in Telugu while Vijay will be doing the same in Tamil. But the heroine for both the versions is one, and she is Ileana. It is the general trend (in Indian cinema) that a heroine is paid only once for any number of versions. But director Shankar agreed to pay a whopping 1.5 crore for her for both the versions. With that she has become the first heroine in the entire South Indian Cinema to receive such a huge amount for a film.

The beautiful actress has already set a record a taker of highest remuneration in Telugu. Now, she had proved herself as top heroine in the South.
